Abstract
  • The development of modern infrastructures gave rise to modern public
    media and a host of media innovations. But how and why? This question has
    always been at the center of media theory, but the answers have remained
    unsatisfactory. The article tries to give the question a new focus,
    looking back from today’s digital media of cooperation, and accounting for
    the Longue Durée momentum of secondary and tertiary sector relationships
    (economically speaking).
