Abstract
  • Make no mistake: It is impossible to interpret Kant’s account of duties of love in §§23—26 of the Tugendlehre in just twenty pages or so. I will not even try to provide such an interpretation. I will provide, however, a partial interpretation that shall demonstrate why it is impossible to interpret Kants theory in only a few pages. At the same time, I will sketch a research program to show what kind of work needs to be done.
